Malcolm M. Traxler, Jr., MD
Dr. Malcolm “Mac” Traxler, Jr. has been practicing internal medicine in north Georgia since 2003. He practiced in Gainesville, Georgia and relocated to Roswell for a short time before moving to the Forsyth County area. He is originally from Panama City, Florida. Dr. Traxler graduated magna cum laude from Furman University in 1986 and received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 2000. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 2003. Prior to entering a career in medicine, Dr. Traxler practiced as an attorney, having earned a law degree from the University of Virginia. Dr. Traxler specializes in all areas of internal medicine, such as hypertension, diabetes and preventive care, and treats patients 16 years and older.

Heather Wanner, FNP
Heather graduated from Baylor University in 1992, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She worked as a travel nurse enjoying the opportunity to work in different clinical and hospital settings before returning back to school. Heather then earned her Masters of Nursing Degree at Delta State University in 1997, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since this time, she has continued to work as a Nurse Practitioner in the clinic, hospital, rehabilitation, and other extended care facilities. During her 30 years of experience, she been fortunate to work in Family, Internal Medicine, Hematology/Oncology, Cardiology, and Integrative Medical clinics. She has partnered with local Nursing schools, serving as a preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students during her career. She is involved at the state and local levels of her profession. Heather is passionate about her clients and their families, and committed to providing excellent care, compassion, and communication. Heather enjoys spending time with her two children, Alden and Josh.
